The original Forté set features tips crafted from elegant African Blackwood, commonly used in high-end musical instruments like the clarinet. Based on feedback, ChiaoGoo has now released the Forte 2.0 set with carbon fiber shafts for sizes US 2-8 and larger sizes US 9-15 made from the same luxurious wood. While the carbon fiber offers superior strength and durability, it remains equally visually stunning.
The Forté 2.0 Set offers a new and improved cable selection, including 3 [S] Red TWIST cables in addition to the original SWIV360 interchangeable cables. The SWIV360 are silver in color, while the cables have the same properties as the beloved red and blue TWIST cables, as well as a swivel feature. Each threaded steel join is laser etched with the tip diameter and join size for long-lasting identification.
All parts and pieces in the Forté 2.0 series have [S] or [L] size joins, allowing them to be easily interchanged with other ChiaoGoo interchangeable parts that are similarly coded. The Forté case, constructed from REACH compliant man-made material, boasts both elegance and functionality, mirroring the quality of the tips and cables. Its features include a double-sided, removable needle board to securely house all tips, elastic for easy access to accessories, and four pockets to hold additional knitting supplies, including a designated space for patterns or notes. The case is designed with a full zipper enclosure to prevent any items from falling out when opened book-style.
